戌狗辞岁去，一元复始；亥猪迎春来，万象更新！值此辞旧迎新、吉祥喜庆之际，中华医学会麻醉学分会谨向全国麻醉医生及麻醉工作者致以衷心的感谢和美好的祝愿！
在新的一年中，中华医学会麻醉学分会将继续以患者安全为中心，以麻醉质量为导向，努力推进“以量取胜”到“品质优先”的围术期医学模式的建设。目前，世界范围内都存在不同程度麻醉医生短缺的现象。而在中国，麻醉医生的严重短缺已成为限制学科发展、品质提升的重要因素。所幸的是，麻醉学科的发展得到了政府部门的鼎力支持，中华医学会麻醉学分会正致力于多措并举，配合国家政策的落实，逐步营造良好的麻醉执业环境，为患者提供更好的医疗服务。
新年伊始，我谨代表中华医学会麻醉学分会，衷心感谢各级领导和各界人仁之仕对麻醉学科一如既往的关注、厚爱与大力支持！期待在2019年与全国麻醉同道一起，强化与国际各麻醉学分会之间的合作，促进学术创新，改善教育培训，缓解人力资源短缺，提高麻醉整体水平，提升麻醉医生工作满意度。
同时，作为世界麻醉医师协会联盟（WFSA）常务理事，我十分荣幸地转达WFSA主席Jannicke Mellin-Olsen教授对麻醉同道们的新年问候。
2019年是中国农历猪年，猪年寓意着“勇敢和忠诚”，充满了“好运和期待”。谨此，向您和您的家人致以最诚挚的新年祝福！

New Year Greetings from the CSA
Holiday season is enjoyable and the brand New Year is coming. The Chinese Society of Anesthesiology (CSA) will be continuously focusing on Patient Safety and the Quality of Anesthesia across the country by shifting from the volume-based to the value-based perioperative care. Because of the huge shortage of anesthesia providers, we are just in the dilemma of providing better anesthesia services in China as well as over the world. By the policy support from the Government, Chinese Society of Anesthesiology will continue working towards happy anesthesia working environment and innovation for better quality of anesthesia practice.
On behalf of CSA, I am looking forward to working with all of our colleagues and international anesthesia societies in 2019 to promote academic innovation, improve the education and bridge the workforce gap beyond patient safety for anesthesiologist job satisfaction.
As a WFSA Council Member, I am honored to take such an opportunity to pass the Holiday Greetings from WFSA President Jannicke Mellin-Olsen.
The year of 2019 is Chinese year of the pig, which symbolizes bravery, thoughtfulness and loyalty. The year of the pig is filled with good fortune. Hereby, I sincerely thank all of our colleagues and friends from all discplines and background for their longstanding focus, love and firm support for anesthesia development！Please accept my warm wishes for a Happy New Year to you and your family in 2019.
