亲爱的麻醉前辈和同道们，以及关心和支持麻醉事业的朋友们：

值此猪年新春佳节来临之际，中华医学会麻醉学分会谨向国内外的广大麻醉医生及各界朋友们致以衷心的感谢和新年的祝福，同时向节日期间仍然坚守工作岗位的麻醉同道表示诚挚的问候和崇高的敬意！

在过去的一年中，麻醉医生的严重短缺和学科发展面临瓶颈的问题得到了政府部门的高度重视。国务院七部委联合文件为麻醉学科发展指明了新方向，提出了高要求，给予了新的政策支持。而后各部委连续出台的重要文件以及国务院办公厅把麻醉医师占比列入三级公立医院绩效考核指标中，这是麻醉学科开创新局面的良好机遇。而中华医学会麻醉学分会正致力于多措并举，配合国家政策的落实，逐步营造良好的麻醉执业环境，为患者提供更好的医疗服务。

在新的一年中，中华医学会麻醉学分会将继续以患者安全为中心，以麻醉质量为导向，努力推进“以量取胜”到“品质优先”的围术期医学模式的建设。新年伊始，我谨代表中华医学会麻醉学分会，期待在2019年与全国麻醉同道一起，努力缓解人力资源短缺，改善教育培训，促进学术创新，强化与国际各麻醉学分会之间的合作，更重要的是，进一步提高麻醉整体水平，提升麻醉医生工作满意度。

2019年将是中国麻醉学科创新发展的关键一年！展望新的一年，机遇与挑战并存，希望与困难同在，可谓是“雄关漫道真如铁，而今迈步从头越”！但在党和国家的支持之下，在全国麻醉同道的共同努力之下，麻醉学科发展必将进入新的境界！

2019年，让我们凝心聚力，一起强大！

On the Occasion of the Spring Festival of Chinese Year of the Pig, the Chinese Society of Anesthesiology (CSA) would like to express its heartfelt gratitude and blessings to anesthesiologists across China and around the world. We send our sincere greetings and respect to those who are still working during the festival and have devoted in the past. 

In the year of 2018, the serious shortage of manpower of anesthesiologists and the bottlenecks in the development of the discipline have been highly valued by the government. The joint documents by the seven Ministries and Commissions of the State Council have pointed out new directions for the future development of the anesthesiology discipline. High expectancy, together with supporting policy was put forward. Important documents have been issued by various ministries and commissions there after. The State Council also demanded that the number of anesthesiologists be incorporated in to key performance indicators of tertiary public hospitals, which is a good opportunity for the anesthesia discipline. CSA is committed to taking multiple measures and working with the implementation of national policies to gradually improve a good working environment for anesthesiologists and provide better medical services for patients as a result.

In the upcoming year, CSA will continue to focus on patient safety under the guidance of quality assurance, and strive to promote the perioperative medicine from “volume-based” to “value-based” Model. At the beginning of the new year, on behalf of the CSA, I hope to work with our fellow anesthesiologists in 2019, to alleviate manpower shortages, improve education and training, promote academic innovation, further strengthen international cooperation, and even more importantly to improve the overall anesthesia performance and career satisfaction of anesthesiologists.

2019 will be a crucial year for the development of anesthesia discipline in China. We are just in dilemma with the opportunities and challenges coexisted, as an old Chinese saying put it "Insuperable as the strong pass seems, we are surmounting it now with great strides. " However, with the firm support by the government, a great effort by anesthesiologists across China will surely witness a flourish of the anesthesia discipline to meet the increasing needs.

Let us gather together and we will be stronger in 2019.
